Secretan Telescope

A great piece for any living space or cave! The Telescope can still be used but is missing a few bits (no case) so would be described as a decorative object only, probably designed and made by Marc Francois Louis Secretan, Secretan was professor of mathematics at the academy of Lausanne then move to Paris in the mid 19th century where he started a partnership with Nicolas Marie Paymal Lerebours to create Lerebours et Secretan specialising in making photographic equipment and scientific instruments.
